Your data stays yours.

The short version
- This site sets no cookies and shows no ads.
- The only personal data I collect is what you type into the resume request form.
- I never sell it, never share it for advertising, and never use it to train AI models.
- I keep resume requests for 12 months, then delete them.
- Message me on LinkedIn and I will show you, correct or delete what I hold about you.
01 / Who is responsible
One person, not a company.
This is my personal website. I am Samhith Juturu, based in Gurgaon, India, and I am the person responsible for any data collected through samhithjuturu.com. There is no company, team or marketing department behind it.
For anything about your data, message me on LinkedIn. I read and answer these myself.
02 / What I collect
Nothing, unless you ask for my resume.
If you only browse
I do not collect anything about you. There is no sign-up and nothing to fill in. Like every website, the server that delivers these pages briefly sees technical details such as your IP address and browser type in order to send you the page. My hosting provider keeps those in short-lived server logs. I do not use them to identify you.
If you request my resume
The resume form asks for four things, and you choose whether to send them:
- Your company
- Your role
- Your work email address
- Your phone number
When you press send, a few details are recorded alongside them automatically:
- The date and time of the request
- The page you sent it from, and the page that led you there
- Your browser type (its user agent)
- A scrambled, one-way code made from your IP address. I store the code, not the IP address itself, and it cannot be turned back into one. It only helps me spot repeated spam.
- An automatic label saying whether the role and email domain look like a match for the company you named.
That label is a simple rule, not AI, and it only changes the message you see on screen. I read each request and decide myself whether and how to reply. Nothing about you is decided by a machine.
The form also includes a hidden field and a timing check that exist only to stop bots. They collect nothing about real visitors.
03 / Why I use it
To reply to you, and little else.
- To answer your request. I use your email and phone number to send the resume and continue the conversation you started. I do this because you asked me to, with your consent.
- To get in touch later, only if you say yes. If you tick the optional box on the form, I may contact you later about a relevant role or opportunity. This is your choice, the box is never ticked for you, and you can withdraw it at any time by telling me.
- To keep the form free of spam. The time, browser type and scrambled IP code let me filter out bots and repeat submissions. I rely on my legitimate interest in keeping the form usable.
I do not use your details for anything that is not on this list.
04 / What I never do
No selling, no ads, no AI training.
- I do not sell, rent or trade your data.
- I do not share it with advertisers, data brokers or recruiters.
- I do not use your data to train, fine-tune or test any AI or machine-learning model, and I do not paste it into AI tools.
- I do not build profiles of visitors or track you across other websites.
- I do not run advertising pixels, heatmaps, session recording or fingerprinting.
- I do not send newsletters or marketing emails.
05 / Cookies and storage
This site sets no cookies.
None at all: no first-party cookies, no third-party cookies, nothing for advertising. That is why you were not shown a cookie banner. There is nothing to accept or refuse.
To remember a couple of display choices, the site saves a few small values in your own browser. They stay on your device and are never sent to me or to anyone else. They hold no personal information.
| Name | What it does | How long it lasts |
|---|---|---|
samhith_theme |
Remembers whether you chose the light or dark theme. | Until you clear your browser's site data. |
samhith_os_theme |
Notes your device's own light or dark setting, so the site can follow it when it changes. | Until you clear your browser's site data. |
samhith_intro_completed |
Stops the opening animation replaying on every page in the same visit. | Until you close the tab. |
samhith_cta_dismissed |
Keeps the floating "Book a call" button hidden once you have closed it. | Until you close the tab. |
samhith_logo_write |
Carries the logo animation across one page change. | A moment. It is removed as soon as the next page loads. |
You can remove these whenever you like by clearing site data for samhithjuturu.com in your browser settings. The site works without them. You will simply see the default theme and the opening animation again.
06 / Who handles it
Two service providers, no one else.
I do not hand your data to anyone for their own use. Two companies process it on my behalf, simply because the site and my inbox run on their services:
- Vercel hosts this website. It delivers the pages, runs the resume form, and keeps short-lived server logs. If saving a request ever fails, the same details are written to my hosting logs so the request is not lost.
- Google stores resume requests in a Google Sheet, and I reply to you from Gmail.
Both handle the data under their own privacy and security terms. Their servers may be in the United States or other countries, so your details may be processed outside the country you live in.
I would only disclose your data to anyone else if the law required me to.
07 / Links to other sites
Links out are only links.
This site links to my LinkedIn profile, my Calendly booking page and my GitHub. Those are plain links. Nothing from those services loads on this site, so they learn nothing about you unless you click.
Once you do, you are on their site and their privacy policy applies, not this one. If you book a call, Calendly collects the details you enter there.
08 / How long I keep it
Twelve months, then it is deleted.
- Resume requests are deleted 12 months after you send them, or sooner if you ask.
- Emails we exchange stay in my inbox like any other correspondence, until you ask me to delete them.
- Server logs are removed automatically by my hosting provider after a short period.
- Values in your browser last as described in the table above, and you control them.
09 / Your rights
Ask, and I will act on it.
Wherever you live, you can ask me to:
- Tell you whether I hold any data about you, and send you a copy
- Correct anything that is wrong
- Delete it
- Stop using it, or stop contacting you
- Withdraw a consent you gave earlier
- Give it to you in a format you can take elsewhere
Message me on LinkedIn and mention the email address you used on the form. It costs nothing, and I will reply within 30 days. Withdrawing consent does not affect anything done before you withdrew it.
These rights come from laws including India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023, the GDPR in the European Union and the United Kingdom, and California's privacy law. Under the Indian law you may also name someone to exercise your rights on your behalf. For California residents: I do not sell or share personal information.
If you are unhappy with how I have handled your data, please tell me first so I can put it right. You also have the right to complain to your data protection authority, such as the Data Protection Board of India or the regulator in your own country.
10 / Security
Built to hold as little as possible.
- Every page and every form submission travels over an encrypted HTTPS connection.
- The site loads no code, fonts or media from other companies, so no third party can watch your visit.
- Your IP address is scrambled before anything is saved.
No system is perfectly secure. If a breach ever affected your data, I would tell you and the relevant authority as the law requires.
11 / Children
This site is for professionals.
It is a professional portfolio and is not aimed at anyone under 18. I do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has sent me their details, tell me and I will delete them.
12 / Changes
If this changes, the date changes.
If I change how the site handles data, I will update this page and the date at the top before the change takes effect. I will not start using data you have already given me in a new way without asking you first.
Questions about any of this are welcome on LinkedIn.
